message: How can I make a flashing neon lamp - 240 volt AC
I have been trying for 3 hours ( R-C circuits) but no sucess. I want to include it in my soldering iron socket to show the power is on.

Hai friend, There is nothing special required to make a neon lamp flash. Just connect a 10Meg pot in sieres and start to increase voltage to the neon. Just at the point where the neon gas starts conducting, it starts blinking. Just leave as it is or replace the pott with the nearest valued fixed rresistor.
